The CHA PRV 2.0 (Portable Resonant Vertical 2.0) is a high-performance, field-tunable HF vertical antenna system engineered for serious portable operators who demand efficiency, flexibility, and rapid deployment. Multi-Configuration, Mission-Ready Design

At the core of the CHA PRV 2.0 is the MCC 2.0 (Multi-Configuration Coil), a continuously adjustable loading system that allows the antenna to be quickly tuned to resonance without the need for an external antenna tuner. The antenna supports multiple deployment styles:

• Center-Loaded Vertical (Recommended)

Uses the included 24” CHA SINGLE EXT to raise the coil, dramatically improving radiation efficiency—especially on 40m and 30m.

• Base-Loaded Vertical

Ultra-compact and discreet, perfect for balconies, motel rooms, RV parks, and rapid travel setups.

• 6-Meter Vertical Off-Center Fed Dipole (OCFD)

A simple reconfiguration turns the PRV 2.0 into an effective resonant vertical antenna for 50–54 MHz.

• MPAS-Expanded Configurations (Optional)

Compatible with MIL Whips, SS17 telescopic whips, additional extensions, and all MPAS Ready mounts.

This modular approach allows operators to tailor height, efficiency, and footprint to the environment—without changing antennas.

True Resonant Operation – No Tuner Required

Unlike broadband compromise antennas, the CHA PRV 2.0 is a true resonant antenna. When properly adjusted, it achieves SWR < 2:1 across the entire amateur band on 40–10 meters, eliminating the need for an antenna tuner and reducing system losses. Tuning is fast and intuitive using the adjustable MCC 2.0 and included Band Keys for repeatable field setups.
