That is where CHA RG-316 enters the kit. Ideal for QRP and SOTA operators, this rugged high-quality coax 50-ohm coax is half the weight of an equivalent RG-58 coax and much less bulky. An added feature is the preinstalled RFI choke to combat common mode currents. Available in 15’ and 25’ lengths with male BNC connectors, and rated to 500w at 30 mHz.
That preparation gives the operator a cleaner, more dependable feed-line plan while keeping connector, loss, frequency, power, routing, and weather limits visible.
