Paradan Radio Mobile LITHIUM Battery Charger · Power
A battery, charger, controller, solar panel, filter, or station-power component.
Why operators make room for it
Build operating time into the field plan
Operating time is not an abstract battery number when the activation, emergency net, or camping trip is still underway.
That is where Paradan Radio Mobile LITHIUM Battery Charger enters the kit. This is a battery charger that plugs into an accessory power socket in a car, truck, rover, or boat, to charge 12 volt Lithium Ferrous Phosphate batteries made by Bioenno Power and others. The 10-13 volt car’s system is converted into 14.2 volts, while limiting the current to 3 amperes. The voltage and current LED meter brightly displays the battery’s voltage and the charging amperage.
For the operator, the goal is quiet and predictable endurance: enough correctly managed energy for the real radio load, with polarity, current, chemistry, charging, and protection handled deliberately.

- Best for
Operating time is not an abstract battery number when the activation, emergency net, or camping trip is still underway.
- What else you need
Match chemistry, voltage, current, connector, and charging source
- Compatible with
Match chemistry, nominal voltage, current, polarity, connector, charger, and controller
What an operator can do
- Match battery chemistry, voltage, current capacity, connectors, charger, and controller to the station load.
- Protect every circuit with the specified polarity, fuse, cable size, ventilation, and charging limits.
- Estimate operating time from the actual transmit duty cycle rather than a maximum nameplate figure alone.
Complete product details
This is a battery charger that plugs into an accessory power socket in a car, truck, rover, or boat, to charge 12 volt Lithium Ferrous Phosphate batteries made by Bioenno Power and others. The 10-13 volt car’s system is converted into 14.2 volts, while limiting the current to 3 amperes. The voltage and current LED meter brightly displays the battery’s voltage and the charging amperage. When fully charged, the current reads near zero and the battery’s float voltage is displayed. There are two output wires, one with a Powerpole ® plug, and a second with a DC barrel power plug. BOTH wires connect internally to the charger’s output. Equipment may be powered using the Powerpole plug, while the battery is being charged via the 5.5 mm DC plug. The charger is housed in a sturdy aluminum case. The auxiliary power plug is fused. A red LED lights when powered.
